Burnout style is the method of take away the fiber. Burnout is the manufacture of a design pattern on the fabric by printing process with a substance that may wipe out few or more fibers present but the whole thing…..

Fiber scrape is used to eat cellulose fibers and effort well on rayon / silk material, hemp / silk material and other combinations of cellulose protein fabrics.

A burnout technique is an exceptional category of treatment for tufted fabric which makes a characteristic appearance for jackets, scarves, coats, and skirts. Moreover it is not often used in upholstery. It is typically used as a patterned accent.

Burnout fabric is most frequently used on materials like brocade and velvet. These materials have a thick stack, allocating the burnout pattern to place out much more obviously.

Burnout technique was urbanized in France in the early twentieth century….. Burnout was tremendously well-accepted in fashion design during the period of 1920s. A recovery of “roaring twenties” fashion mode at the seal of the century guide to an improved interest in burnout pattern designs.

In the fashion business industry, fabric with a burnout pattern is known as devore and expertise call burnout patterns as “fabric etching”, because of the method applying to generate them.

Desired Burnout pattern effect can be created over the fabric by means of applying chemical paste generally containing sulphuric acid substance….. That acid eats away the fibers where and it was applied and leaves the fabric backing behind, then the pattern is produced. After then the fabric is rinsed to remove the acid which does not negotiate the integrity of the garment.

There are several ways of making white or colored burn-out pattern effects on any colored ground fabrics.

Some few examples will give us the knowledge on making burnout design patterns…………..

# A polyester / cellulose fiber blended fabric can be dyed with disperse dyestuffs and reactive dyestuffs either in series or at the same time with their mixture..,

# And then the cellulose fiber portion of the fabric can be cracked in the portion which makes a design by printing the fabric with a burn-out agent and if preferred, with a disperse dyestuff which is good resistant to this burnout agent………

# The cellulose portion must only been dyed, for example reactively and then a colorless burn-out paste makes the normal colorless burn-out patterned fabric.

# In addition to the burn-out paste of a burn-out-resistant, disperse dyestuff has the result that the polyester portion in a burnt-out area is dyed by this dyestuff.
